Gary Native Comes Home to Collaborate and Give Back to Area Youth through Back-to-School Fest
A collaboration between two Gary young adults on a mission to help children is generating a big buzz!
Amari' Ferguson, Founder of NBHD Productions is a proud product of the Gary Community School Corporation and a recent college graduate. Lee Williams, Founder of TarryTown Clothing is also Gary, Indiana native, and both have returned home to share their talents while inspiring the next generation of children in Gary, Indiana.
The two are collaborating to host their first Back-To-School Fest Saturday August 7, 2021 from 12 noon until 8p.m. at Froebel Park, 15th & Madison St. in Gary, Indiana.
"It is an event that will empower children to return back to school with a winning mindset," said Ferguson. "The goal is to bring light to the community, by giving back to children and building relationships while providing an event for children to experience the joy of childhood as they prepare to go back to school."
NBHD Productions is a media company aspiring to show true stories within inner cities and motivate people throughout various neighborhoods to use their creativity wisely.
TarryTown Clothing is a family-owned business that explores different ways to inspire and better our community. One way is by giving back in creative ways and being unique with our clothing.
"Everything is for the youth and the people who struggle to find the fight to build resilience and keep going in life," said Williams. "TarryTown is a neighborhood that represents fight and love! I want to spread the word and support every TarryTown in the world."
